Pediatric Migraine
Migraines are severe, throbbing headaches usually accompanied by nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. The symptoms are sometimes unbearable in adults, making them particularly terrible for kids. If your child suffers from migraines, they may benefit from a clinical trial of a medication already approved in the US for adults.

Inclusion
- 6 to 17 years old.
- History of migraine for at least 6 months
- Migraines lasting between 3 – 72 hours if untreated or treated successfully and migraine episodes are separated by at least 48 hours of headache pain freedom.
- History of 1 to 14 migraine attacks per month with moderate to severe headache for at least 2 months.
- Current or past use of at least 1 oral medication for the acute treatment of migraine.
- Weigh between 44 and 298 pounds.
- Able to swallow pills.

Exclusion
- Cancer within the past 5 years.
- Difficulty distinguishing between migraine headache and tension-type or other headaches.
- Planning to become pregnant during the study.
