Do you have high cholesterol and cardiac risk factors like Type II Diabetes or obesity? You may qualify for a clinical research study testing a new treatment to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of future heart and circulation problems. All study-related care is provided at no cost, and participants will be compensated for their time.
You may qualify if you:
⦁ Are 18 years or older
⦁ Have high cholesterol
⦁ Are taking cholesterol-lowering medicine (statins or similar), OR cannot take certain statins but have tried at least two different kinds
⦁ Have had one of the following in the past 1–12 months:
⦁ A heart attack or acute coronary syndrome
⦁ A stroke caused by blocked arteries
⦁ A procedure for poor circulation in the legs (PAD)
⦁ Meet other eligibility criteria (to be reviewed by the study team)




You DO NOT qualify if you:
- Have been diagnosed with heart failure
- Have Type I diabetes or uncontrolled Type II diabetes
- Are using medications like spironolactone or eplerenone
